Jan Markell interviews Pastor Tom Doyle on Understanding the Times radio about Christians persecuted by radical Muslim groups, and the miracle of thousands of Muslims turning to Jesus Christ.
This is a 5 minute portion of the video that Jan recently did with author Tom Doyle on Understanding the Times radio. You can listen to the full Podcast here [The Blood of the Martyrs – 11/28/2015]. When Jan added this interview to her YouTube channel, her channel was promptly suspended.

The following message was posted on her Olive Tree Ministries web site.
Our YouTube Account Has Been Suspended
Thank you for visiting our website. Our YouTube Account has been suspended due to the content of our message. We’re working on moving to a new video service to bring back the hundreds of videos that are watched daily by thousands of subscribers. We are working quickly on this, but it will take some time. We thank you for your patience, your prayers and your donations
I have been viewing YouTube videos since way before Google purchased it. I have seen truly horrifying videos, very violent videos, videos that verged on pornography. If you use YouTube at all, you know this type of content is available. Yes, the really bad stuff gets shut down fairly quickly – but there was nothing in this radio interview that even comes close to being violent, pornographic or libelous. So my question remains, “Why was Jan Markell’s YouTube channel shut down when she posted this interview?”
Update: YouTube (Google) has subsequently reinstated Jan’s YouTube channel after an inquiry from WND. From the WND article:
A Christian ministry’s YouTube channel, which was suspended permanently on Saturday through an unsigned notice from the division of Google, was reinstated on Monday when WND inquired about the action, specifically questioning what was offensive in the interview by Jan Markell of Olive Tree Ministries with Tom Doyle about his book, “Killing Christians: Living the Faith Where it’s Not Safe to Believe.”
From the article at WND:
A Christian ministry’s YouTube channel, which was suspended permanently on Saturday through an unsigned notice from the division of Google, was reinstated on Monday when WND inquired about the action, specifically questioning what was offensive in the interview by Jan Markell of Olive Tree Ministries with Tom Doyle about his book, “Killing Christians: Living the Faith Where it’s Not Safe to Believe.”
A YouTube spokesperson told WND, “When it’s brought to our attention that a video or channel has been removed mistakenly, we act quickly to reinstate it.”
Markell told WND she was shocked and stunned when contacted by WND with word of the restoration, but very glad that her ministry’s work once again was available to supporters through YouTube. She confirmed to WND all material that had been blocked on Saturday once again was available on Monday.
But she did express some concerns about how the situation developed.
For example, the organization, whose broadcasts are heard on some 800 radio stations across the nation, was notified only of a second “strike” – essentially a complaint about one of its videos – Saturday morning. That warned of a two-week suspension of all activities on YouTube.
Then only hours later came the notification of the third “strike,” and the permanent ban.

I am very glad that Jan’s YouTube Channel was reinstated. The interviews, videos and conferences she offers through her Channel and her web site, are a valuable source of Christian information, instruction and comfort. But as Jan and others have been warning, the storm of Christian suppression, marginalizing and eventual persection is building here just as it has for so long in other countries.
