We used to be proud of our country....  I grew up during a time when we said the Pledge of Allegiance every day in school. Our parents may not have agreed with everything the government did or said - but we were all proud of our country.So, this headline I saw in my Facebook feed this morning grabbed my attention. I really wondered what was so controversial. Silly me... it should have been obvious! CBS Sports Rejects Ad Featuring Child Reciting Pledge Of Allegiance The 'offensive' ad shows an adorable 4 year old girl (the owner's granddaughter) reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. When she finishes, the ad cuts to the logo for a Real Estate company with a voice-over giving the company's name and location.... Ummm..that's it. Yes, really...
