I grew up during a time when we said the Pledge of Allegiance every day in school. Our parents may not have agreed with everything the government did or said – but we were all proud of our country. So, this headline I saw in my Facebook feed this morning grabbed my attention. I really wondered what was so controversial. Silly me… it should have been obvious!
